What is Kobo Super Points?

Whatever your longing, path, or destination, Phil Cousineau gives you the most valuable gear you could pack in your satchel — how to travel outward to the edges of the world while simultaneously journey to the depths of your soul. The pricking anticipation of a phone call seconds before ringing, the premonition dream of birth exactly nine months before, the chance meeting that opens a new career path, the eerie realization of a loved one's death half a world away.

From Jung to Einstein, across boundaries of culture and time, people have recognized the potential for synchronicity to reveal a hidden order to seeming random events, and to offer a glimpse of one's destiny.

I loved the way they were presented and grouped together throughout the book. A delightful, heartfelt presentation on a significant subject. Too rambling and hippy-dippy, and the stories are pretty lackluster. Some were mildly psychic experiences as opposed to synchronicities, and most were just things that happened that the subject decided to read meaning into.

The contributions seem to be navel-gazing accounts from the new-agey author's extended circle of friends. The book comes off as dated and not relatable to those who are not latter-day hippies. It's like when a friend tries to tell you about a cool dream he had, not realizing it's not interesting to anyone else.
