Jan 11, fa. Now, Abad is a hypocrite and disingenuous when narrating his family's story. They are part of a 'social class' of extreme privilege in Colombia he denies it all through the book indirectly.

Absurd to think about it when so many people live on total poverty. These voices only encourage the idea of Colombia as a tourist destination and these so called historical accounts are null in my opinion coming from such a distorted and privileged point of view.
